Encapsulated by the infamous starlets of the mid-20th century like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and Grace Kelly, Hollywood glamor photography became characterized by its far off gazes and high contrast lighting. Through the maintenance of these traits, Glamor Reconstructed challenges idealized beauty standards and explores contemporary notions of beauty with a gentle nod to its predecessors. (2023)
